Recently, a young man of 27 years old became famous in our center, because he
abandoned his crutch that is with him for 10 years, and walked out of our center
himself. The man is named Xiao Tao, a cerebral palsy patient.
A strong boy with a hard crutch
Xiao Tao was affected with cerebral palsy when he was born due to
leukodystrophy caused by oxygen loss supply to brain. Cerebral palsy made him
feel stiffed and restricted movements with his limbs, especially in his lower
limbs, that he couldn’t walk by himself. Besides, cerebral palsy affected his
growth that he is smaller than common people. The most attractive place in him
is his crutch, or we can call it a stick, his “legs” in the past 10 years. It’s
smooth but hard.
Looking for cure
What could I do with cerebral palsy? Xiao Tao was always asking himself. Xiao
Tao is just like his stick, warm-hearted and strong. Although he had cerebral
palsy, he never gave up his life and treatment. He learnt computer by himself,
and make money by his techniques. Meanwhile, he had been looking for the
effective treatment for cerebral palsy that brought him the nightmare of
disability. He wanted to drop his crutch forever. However through years’
treatment, he was disappointed. He received many treatments, including
myotendolysis, but it indicated little effect for his nerves, muscles and bones
of lower limbs.
